10 Year Olds Birthday Goes To The Cats

When 9 almost 10 year old Riley read in the paper that FIDO, Friends Involved in Dog Outreach was have trouble getting enough cat food for it’s AniMeals program she knew what she wanted for her birthday. Cat Food, instead of presents for herself, she asked her guests to bring cat food.
When she delivered over 100 pounds of cat Food to FIDO, many of the bags were decorated with bows and ribbons.
In cooperation with Meals on Wheels the AniMeals program provides dog and cat food to home bound seniors. The program was started when it was found that seniors were sharing their food with their pets.
