Shelter Donations

FIDO supports the work of Clackamas County, Oregon, Dog Services by providing funds and materials for dog shelter facility improvements, dog owner education, spay and neutering services, and emergency veterinary care for shelter dogs. FIDO donors receive a tax deductible receipt from FIDO, which is a non-profit, 501(c)3 foundation.

In 2009, Clackamas County Dog Services moved from a 51-year-old, overcrowded building (and two trailers) on Kaen Road in Oregon City to one all-encompassing building,  13141 SE Highway 212 in Clackamas ,with more room for dogs, for visitors and for dog care.  Stop by and take a look at the new facility, with 51 dog runs, instead of 32, the new facility is much larger (15,000 sq.ft) and includes lots of improvements and additions.
