The Mission of Friends  Involved In Dog Outreach,  FIDO,  is to improve the lives of animals,  to help keep them out of the shelters and to support those in the shelter.   FIDO’s  Dog Food Bank and  AniMeals programs,  help to keep dogs in homes with their families and out of the shelters.  Our vacination clinics help to assure dogs are licensed,   and the Microchips Clinics  make sure lost dogs are returned home.    Through the Sampson fund,  FIDO  helps dogs that come into the county shelter,  injured and in need of medical assistace.    FIDO has grown and expanded since it’s conception in 2004,  when it’s sole purpose was to provide support to Clackamas County Dog Services .

Since its founding in 2004, FIDO, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, has rapidly gained awareness and respect in the community.  We continue to grow providing  new services and filling the needs of the community.   While FIDO  is primarally a Clackamas County  organization,  our dog food bank services many people from other communities,  including  Hillsboro,  Salem,  and Vancouver.

FIDO is an all volunteer,  501(c)3,  non profit,  dedicated to making “Pawsitive  Changes  One Dog at a Time”.

Join us by donating or volunteering your time  to help improve the lives of dogs.
